Additionally there is a Cold Beer Vendor/Off-Sale, Laundromat, VLT’s, ATM and Business support services. The Lodge has high quality town drinking water. Town amenities are a short walking distance.

Parkside Children’s Centre offers full and part time flexible child care. The program is run out of two buildings. Each building is licensed to care for a maximum of 20 children. We provide care for children 12 weeks to 12 years of age of whom no more than 12 children are less than 2 years of age. Nursery school runs from September to mid June yearly. Our normal hours of operation are from 7:00 am – 5:45 pm daily with extended hours available upon request to the director. Parkside Children’s Centre is part of the Childcare-Family Access Network (C-FAN). C-FAN Inc. is a licensed non-profit child care program with charitable status. It is managed by a volunteer board of directors from the community. The program has been in existence since 1990. C-FAN’s mission is to provide flexible, accessible, affordable, quality childcare options to rural families. C-FAN responds to the need for rural family childcare by being an advocate within the child care profession and by developing partnerships with parents, communities, governments and others.
