Oyotunji is the oldest authentic Yoruba African Village in N. America. The African Village, founded in 1970 by, HRM Oba Ofuntola Adefunmi I, the first African born in America to be initiated into the indigenous Yoruba priesthood of Obatala.

To be the premiere venue in the western hemisphere for West African cultural education, knowledge, information and practice. With an eye to sharing this treasure with the largest audience possible.
