To investigate and research the cultures of West Africa and freely offer our findings to the public in the form of ceremonies, lectures, mass media, workshops, written materials, and other public presentations.
To be the premiere venue in the western hemisphere for West African cultural education, knowledge, information and practice. With an eye to sharing this treasure with the largest audience possible.

Oyotunji African Village has sought to present a positive cultural image by working with area schools in Beaufort, Jasper, and Hampton Counties
