    In order to log into Alio 2.0, just point your browser to our site (www.alio.com.

    br) and ll in your username and password on the top right corner of the screen. Whereyou read You are: choose the Webmaster 2.0 option.

    Alio 2.0 brings to its afliates a new way of managing the campaigns which will

    run on their websites. In this new version, the afliate will have to ask to participate ina campaign and wait for a response from the advertiser, who will approve the afliates

    request or not based on rules previously set for the campaign (Target Audience, types of

    sites authorized to run the campaign, etc.).

    After the website is approved, the afliate will be able to create Custom Tags, so

    that the banner rotation is made automatically, or use each banners individual code. The

    use of single banner tags requires greater attention in order to swap or remove them once

    the campaign or its budget expires. By using Custom Tags, the banners will be automati-

    cally removed from the rotation once such limits are reached, making it more dynamic

    and maximizing your sites prots.

    In this guide, we will illustrate and explain the functionalities and best practices

    for using Alio 2.0.

    After logging into the system, you will be redirected to its start Page where you

    can visualize important information, such as:

    - A summarized report of the number of views, clicks, CTR (click-through rate),

    Leads (xed value earned per registration), Sales (percentage paid per sale), Com-

    missions (total earned during the selected period), eCPM (effective cost per thousand

    views);

    - Search through available campaigns;

    - Your validated prots for the current month;

    *A few notes on the data displayed on this page:

    - Under Validated Profits, only the current months profits are displayed. To view profit information from

    previous months, click on More Details.

    - All of the reports shown by the system are updated in real-time. In the case of Leads or Sales campaigns,only those leads and sales already validated are reported.

    The My Menu section makes it possible for the afliate to create a customized

    menu with the most commonly accessed functions by following the instructions avail-able on that page.

    Ohe links can be renamed according to the afliates preference and are displayed

    under My Menu, on the top left corner of the page.

    Under My Account, you will be able to edit your personal information, system

    password, payment details and manage or add new sites and mailing lists.

    - My Details

    It allows you to edit your personal information such as address, ZIP code, phone

    number, e-mail and payment details.

    The payment methods available are: Bank Transfer or PayPal (for the latter you

    must inform the e-mail you have registered with your PayPal account).

    More information on the afliate payment procedure can be found in section 2.6

    - Site Management

    Here you can edit your sites Declared Audience (Unique Visitors and Monthly

    Page Views), necessary for a correct appraisal of your site by the advertisers. We recom-mend the use of Google Analytics to obtain this data.

    This page also allows you to request the registration of new websites. Remember

    that these websites must be in accordance with the Alio Operational Contract (which

    you accepted upon registration and can be found at http://www.alio.com.br/webmas-

    ter/cgu) and will be evaluated by Alios Webmaster Support Team. Your sites can be

    rejected if they do not comply with the contract.

    Alio 2.0s reports are updated in real-time and display campaign publicizing

    information, such as number of views, clicks, click-through rates, number of leads orSales and commissions on the registered sites. Different kinds of reports are available

    and we will look into each one in this section of the guide.

    - Per Period Report

    As demonstrated on Picture 7, the reports can be displayed and sorted by cam-

    paign or by day, according to the period of time selected from the options or entered in

    the search boxes.

    The reports on this page can be updated in real-time by clicking on the button

    and exported either in XLS ou XML format.

    This is a report of your Leads (approved, pending or rejected) during the selected

    lected and you can also choose what data to compare. Among the available options are:Views, Clicks, Leads and Sales.

    - Banners

    The Banners Reports are displayed by campaign, grouping or period of time. A

    click on the banners title allows you to preview it and makes it easier to identify andoptimize banners for use on your site.

    The reports on this page can be updated in real-time by clicking on the button

    and exported either in XLS ou XML format.

    In this section we have the detailing of all active campaigns in the system, the af-

    liates requests to join different campaigns, details of campaigns currently being runby the afliate, single tags for campaign banners in use by the afliate and creation of

    Custom Tags for the rotation of the selected banners.

    Each functionality of this section will explained in detail and their correct use is

    essential for the afliate to choose the campaigns in which to take part and to access the

    tags for these campaigns.

    In this section the afliate will be able to search all campaigns available in Alio

    2.0 according to the selected search criteria (Campaign Type, Start Date and CampaignStatus). Each line of the results display the campaigns name and information, as well as

    giving the afliate the option to join the campaign by clicking on .

    Please remember that clicking on does not guarantee your participation in the

    campaign. Your participation must be approved by the advertiser and this will happen

    according to specic campaign rules. Certain advertisers choose to run their campaigns

    only on sites in certain segments (i.e. sports sites, female-targeted sites, blogs. nance

    sites, etc.), others will run campaigns open to every kind of site.

    After the advertisers acceptance, the afliate is ready to run the campaign and

    may copy the code for the banners or create Custom Tags in the Banners section of site.

    When creating Custom Tags, the afliate may select the banners and their sizes for the

    automatic rotation. These screens will be described further in this guide (Section 2.5).

    The My Campaigns section works similarly to the previous All Campaigns

    section. The only difference is that here, the list includes only the campaigns to whichthe afliate has already requested to participate in.

    - Banners

    Here the afliate can view all banners available in the system and access the codes

    for the banners of campaigns in which his participation has already been accepted by

    the advertiser. Once you copy the codes, all you need is to insert them in your site and

    wait for your visitor to click-through. We remind you that you cannot click on your own

    banners.

    A few notes on the use of single banner tags:

    - The use of single banner tags will demand greater control by the webmaster, for these

    will continue to show after the campaigns end or deactivation, and, consequently, these

    click and leads will not be counted.

    - The use of these tags is recommended in specic cases where a campaign is having an

    excellent result running on your site so that you can maximize your earnings. To use the

    banners without the worries mentioned above, we recommend creating Custom Tags.

    These are explained in the next topic.

    The Custom Tags function is the recommended tool for achieving the best re-

    sults with Alio 2.0. With them, you generate a code that automatically rotates the ban-ners you have selected. You may create as many tags as you deem necessary.

    As shown in Picture 14, in order to generate your custom tag, click on Add Cus-

    tom Tag, give it a name and select the banner format you want. On the next screen,

    shown in Picture 15 below, you will select which banners you want to be displayed,

    bearing in mind that only the banners available in the format you selected will be shown

    and that banners youve already added to your tag will not be listed here. After you se-

    lect the banners, the code for inserting the Custom Tag in your site will be available on

    the main page of the Custom Tags section, as shown in Picture 16, by clicking on theSee Tag link. Further changes to the tag can be made by clicking on the Details link

    for the tag you wish to change.

    In order to get paid correctly, the user must have entered correct and valid pay-

    ment information under the My Account, My Details section.

    Payments are made, upon request, on the last business day of the month. There is

    a minimum value of R$100,00 for payment requests.
