Story about Joe Chan sat in a room with other volunteers as to prepare a tuition class about the children who would be coming into his class , Joe was one of them.

Joe, 5 year old, was diagnosis with Autism Disorder. His ability to think abstractly, deviate from routine, and empathize, interact and communicate with others is impaired.

Failing in school, Joe was encouraged to receive a training by Therapists or Special education professionals every month with a 40 min session each time and also been preparing to take pills with potential side-effect when he turn 8.

Joe’s parents always been asking the same questions: how to make sure Joe keep up in his learning? How can we make Joe better ?

Chan’s question to himself was if we do not expect much from these kids why are we here?

In 2014, AESIR was established to develop activating games and interactive solutions for diverse groups of people with special needs using augmented-reality and virtual reality technologies.

AESIR’s games are award-winning learning tools, co-design with health professionals, support happy, healthy and productive minds, like Joe, for Special Needs in learning the life skills and positive habits they’ll need and also contribute to their health and personal development professionally and non-invasively.
