AEROTOP® S – undoubtedly one of the quietest heat pumps in the world.

ELC O Noise Reduction SystemThe noise emission of the new AEROTOP® S is uniquely low at just 46 dB(A)* and is as quiet-running as a typical modern fridge. And being installed internally, gardens and terraces remain quiet without intrusion upon the build-ing’s exterior or its surroundings. Additionally direct weather related influences such as rain, frost and snow have no impact..

Extremely quiet fanThe aerodynamically optimised fan blades reduce the noise level (by nominally 2 dBA when compared with standard fans) and also ensure a high residual pressure for long duct work systems.

Decoupled compressor circuitAll of the components within the refrigeration circuit are double isolated with anti-vibration mountings thus reducing structure borne noise transmission and vibration to a minimum.

Innovative protective gridThe special design of the weather protection grid and the air outlet (duct) reduces the pressure loss by up to 75 %.

Optimal air flowThe air-inlet nozzle is flow optimized which creates a lower pressure loss and reduces the energy consump-tion of the fan.

Economical in operationThe ELCO Noise Reduction System combined with inverter technology ensures that the AEROTOP® S accords not only quiet running but its efficient and low use of energy input, goes hand-in-hand with reduced environ-mental impact. This guarantees higher effi-ciency with lower operating costs, which in turn saves money.

Generously sized evaporatorThrough precise coolant flow distribution and wider fin spacing, the number of defrosting cycles are reduced by up to 70 %. As a result, the seasonal efficiency (ScOP) significantly increases.

High efficiency pump EEI ≤ 0,23This type pump saves around 50 % energy whencompared to conventional on/off circulation pumps of similar duty, and has a high residual head capa-bility thus eliminating the need for any additional external pump.

Precise electronic expansion valveThis valve ensures precise temperature regulation andan optimum cooling cycle function under all operating conditions.

Flow-optimised heat exchangerOptimized asymmetric flow channels in the condenser reduce the pressure loss raising the cOP by around 5%.

Variable speed-controlled fanThe centrifugal fan with optimised motor manage-ment enables energy savings of up to 50 % as compared to conventional on/off solutions.

Reliable inverter technologyThe modulating compressor output adapts exactly to the current heat requirement, saving energy and reducing emissions. On/Off cycles are reduced increasing the reliability of the compressor.

Comfort cooling in summerWhere optimally insulated new (modern) buildings are heated via an under floor heating system; in the summer months, an AEROTOP® S* can reverse its heating function to provide comfort cooling via the under floor system.

In its normal heating mode, the AEROTOP® S extracts heat from the outside air but in cooling mode it reverses this function to extract heat from within the building to either cool the floor for comfort, or if in conjunction with convector type units,it provides an air conditioning function.

High Temperature – Ideal for radiatorsWith the effect of EVI (Enhanced Vapour Injection), the perfor-mance of the AEROTOP® S can rise to such a degree that a temperature level of up to 65 °c is reached. In the process, the evaporated coolant is injected from the return flow directly into the compressor, thereby further reducing the coolant circuit

temperature at that point. And because the colder coolant can be more deeply compressed, the resultant flow temperature rises by a further 5 °c. With this higher water flow temperature capability, the AEROTOP® S may also be used in connection with existing radiators.

Comprehensive lab testingAll tests are carried out at our laboratory in accordance with En 14511; En 14825; En 12102. In the development stage more than 100 parameters were determined like: the heat output, power consumption, temperature, pressure, volume flow, the vibrations of individual components, and many more. Simulations were carried out at extremely low outdoor temperatures of up to -25 °c.

VISTRON THS combi-cylinder for maximum hot water outputThe combi-cylinder uses the volume of the primary buffer, to enhance hot water delivery capability. It also includes connections for the building's heating circuit and has additional connections to allow integration of solar thermal input. Additionally, internal inspection and cleaning access is provided.
