A E R O S P A C E M E C H A N I C A L T E C H N I C I A N San Jacinto’s aerospace mechanical program prepares students to fabricate, assemble, test, and manage the construction of aerostructures in an industrial setting. Course topics include:
• Introduction to aerospace systems (including flight control, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, landing, electrical, fuel, avionics, and more)
• Blueprints, tools, and materials
• Fasteners
• Drilling and riveting
• Electrical bonding and grounding
• Sealants and safety
• Structures installation and assembly
