TheOTTMAGNUM® membrane tubediffuser
has been the leading diffuser of choice for use in
the demanding German aeration market for more
than 10 years.
The OTT MAGNUM®support core was designed to combine
the best combination of important ratios: highest
strength to weight; the lowest installation time to active
membrane surface; lowest piping length to diffuser
length ratios and lowest buoyancy to weight – an
unrivaled combination. These factors yield an installed
cost that is competitive with, if not lower than, any
other system designed to efficient standards.
Constructional details such as the CLIP IN ® connection
and the membrane guide rib on the upper side of the
support core are a solid basis for operational reliability and durability.
Every diffuser is air flow and pressure tested at the factory to
ensure the highest degree of quality control and product uni-
formity. To the client, this guarantees an optimized, highly
reliable and efficient aeration process for many years to come.

membranes are optimallytailored to the type of waste-water and application.The highest quality standardsand extensive QA/QC checksensure continual high perfor-mance and reliability.
Fold-free membraneThe patented molded profile ofthe OTT MAGNUM® guaranteesthe membrane is fold-freewhenever process air isswitched off, especially inintermittent operations.This detail is the basis for ahigh degree of mechanicalintegrity and durability ofmembranes.
PerforationThe OTT perforation techniquedelivers an optimum bubblepattern. This method is but oneof many features that give OTTdiffusers unrivalled efficiency.The efficiency of OTT diffusershas been proven by the resultsof numerous independent per-formance tests. The perforationof the membrane can be gearedto plant –specific requirements– just talk to us.
Single-piece constructionThe MAGNUM® core is a single piece,injection molded membrane supporttube made of virgin, recyclable poly-propylene (PP).The structure and design make theMAGNUM® core a unique product.Environmental sustainability ofyour plant is enhanced by usingrecyclable, environmentally inertmaterials. Quality is maintained bycomputer controlled production.
Stainless steel clampsMembranes are retained onthe diffuser body by stainlesssteel clamps which provide auniform clamping pressurewithout wrinkling themembranes. Extra membranematerial is provided to foldover the clamps for personneland membrane protection.

CLIP IN®
The patented CLIP IN® lockingbolt makes the MAGNUM® theeasiest and quickest diffuserto install.
Mounting socketMAGNUM® membrane tubediffusers are available withconnections to accommodatecommonly available squareand round pipe sizes.
Air channelInjection molding of the diffusermakes it possible to incorporatethe air channel on the undersideof the membrane support tube.The air channel evenly distribu-tes air between the support tubeand membrane.This yields a consistent bubblepattern even at low air flux rates,giving a clear edge over anycompetitor products.
Flooded tubeThe MAGNUM® diffuser core isopen at the ends and in the cen-ter. Thus, the diffuser’s buoyancyis minimized.
LengthsThe MAGNUM® is available ineffective membrane lengths of1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 mm.The overall diffuser length is200 mm more in each case.
