SEN Kent Local Offer: Direct Funding

All schools (including academies) receive direct funding to support children who have

special educational needs. This enables them to make their own decisions about how best to put support in place and when. It should only

be necessary for the authority to provide additional funding when the cost of individual

support exceeds £6000 a year.

SEN Kent Local Offer: MCS

Kent has produced additional guidance for all schools (including academies as part of their SEN obligations) on meeting the needs of all learners: Mainstream Core Standards for all

Learners.
