Path of EgressPath of egress lighting presents a particularly tough challenge requiring precise optical performance, excellent energy efficiency, high reliability and the ability to withstand extreme environmental conditions. The AEL Fluorescent meets these challenges with a wet location listing, AC or AC with Emergency backup and toughness that comes with over thirty years of experience designing and producing Vandal Resistant Lighting. The Emergency battery backup can be remotely mounted or integral to the fixture.

LIFETIME WARRANTYLuminaire Vandal Resistant fixtures feature a lifetime warranty. Luminaire Lighting Corporation will repair or replace any fixture damaged due to vandalism for the lifetime of the installation.

Photometrically Superior

Precise optical design allows the AEL to provide exceptional

photometric performance. Although small in size, the

AEL is able to maintain a well defined forward throw

while still providing security illumination to the door over which it is mounted. The full

cut-off distribution eliminates unwanted light pollution and

therefore can help achieve the LEED Sustainable Site credit 8

for Zones 1 thru 4.

Fast Installation & Maintenance

Quick MountInstallation and field maintenance is made easy with the integrated quick mount system. The result is reduced installation costs and simplified maintenance procedures. The integral angled design of the quick mount bracket actually draws the fixture to the mounting surface and assures a tight, secure vandal resistant installation.

The lens door features an integral concealed hinge that allows for easy re-lamping.

The quick mount bracket, shown in red, is integrated to the fixture body with a carefully calculated angle that draws the body close to the mounting surface for a tight fit.

Battery OptionsThe AEL is available with both an integral or remote battery providing

90 minutes of illumination for the path of egress. The AEL 48 offers an option for an integral or remote emergency battery to provide illumination

of two lamps for municipalities requiring lamp redundancy.
