Recent KFCL Division Three East Results
Today’s visitors to the Wested Meadow Ground are East Kent College Reserves. Competing out of Kent
County Division Two Central & East, today’s cup fixture will see the visitors placed a division higher than AEI
Sports. The club competes out of the Royal Harbour Academy, based in Ramsgate.
Last season saw East Kent College Reserves finish ninth in Kent County Division Two Central & East. A final
league record of 14 points by winning 4, drawing 3 and losing 13. Scoring 29 goals and conceding 56 goals
during the course of the league season.
This season, East Kent College Reserves have played just two matches, being one league match and one cup
match so far. Unfortunate defeats at the hands of Ashford in the league and Minster in the Kent Cup. Two
results, we are sure, they will want to avenge today as well as ensure their own safe passage through to the
next round of the cup.

Our eProgrammes
For the 2016/2017 football season, AEI Sports Football Club will be producing matchday programmes for all
scheduled home matches, in both league and cup competitions. However, as part of the club’s commitment

online-only ‘eProgrammes’.
This is a new approach by the football club to provide important matchday information for teams, officials and
supporters alike, but in a quick and easy format, embracing everyday technology. Produced into a widely-used
PDF format, the eProgramme will be able to be downloaded and viewed upon mobile phones, laptops, PC’s
and tablets alike.
AEI Sports matchday eProgrammes will be freely available and downloadable from the AEI Sports Football
Club official website at www.aeisportsfc.co.uk as well as AEI Sports Facebook and Twitter streams.

2016/2017 Season
AEI Sports Club History
AEI Sports were setup in early 2013. Following a hard pre-season of building
and coaching a football team from absolute scratch, the completion of the
first ever competitive season saw AEI Sports Football Club achieving promo-
tion from R&D Division Six by finishing as runners up. The league season
saw AEI Sports lose only two league matches (to the eventually Division Six
champions), scoring over 120 goals and conceding just 18 in the process.
Twenty clean sheets were achieved across league and cup fixtures.
W: www.aeisportsfc.co.uk | F: www.facebook.com/aeisportsfc | T: @aeisportsfc | E: [email protected]
Into the second season and keen to continue the club’s development, AEI
Sports officials made the bold decision to jump two divisions within the
Rochester & District structure and enter Division Three. Despite many out-
siders writing off the club’s decision, the recruitment of players from higher
levels to compliment last season’s promotion winning squad saw AEI Sports
enjoy a brilliant league season, completing the league season as Division
Three Champions and going through the entire league season unbeaten.
Away from league duties, AEI Sports also enjoyed excellent cup campaigns.
Reaching the final of the domestic Rochester & District Quarter-Century
Cup, a 4-3 win over Park Regis Sheppey saw AEI Sports obtain further silver-
ware to accompany the Division Three championship trophy.
However, a truly memorable season for the club was capped when the Kent
Cup Group B trophy was added to complete ‘the treble’ for the season. A
return to The Gallagher Stadium at Maidstone saw AEI Sports beat fellow
Rochester & District Division One side Gillingham Town One 1-0.
Into the third season and following a review with Rochester & District league offi-
cials, AEI Sports again jumped two divisions into the Rochester & District’s highest
league, the Premier Division. Despite a slow start, notable victories over established
Premier Division sides saw AEI Sports finish a respectable fifth position.
Away from the league, AEI Sports reached the Rochester & District Quarter-Century
Cup final for the second time in three seasons as well as reaching the semi-final of
the domestic Ted Snelling Cup. AEI Sports beat Real Knights 3-2 in the final of the
Quarter-Century Cup, held at Chatham Town FC, to retain the cup for the second
successive season. This cup victory brought the club’s
trophy haul to four trophies in three seasons. A statistic
that all players and officials at the club are very proud of.

About Wested Meadow Ground
For the 2016/2017 football season, AEI Sports Football Club are competing from our new
home ground, the Wested Meadow Ground. Based in Crockenhill, just off Junction 3 of the
M25, the Wested Meadow Ground has long been the home of Crockenhill Football Club and
has a long history, dating back over seventy years.
AEI Sports Football Club thanks Crockenhill Football Club for the use of their facilities and
their support.
W: www.aeisportsfc.co.uk | F: www.facebook.com/aeisportsfc | T: @aeisportsfc | E: [email protected]
Despite being used prior to 1950, Wested Meadow had no significant facilities. However, by the 1950’s, a small stand had been installed as well as dressing rooms, a tea bar, an office and a loudspeaker system. This brought significant improvements to the ground.
Following later-on, a clubhouse was built in the 1960’s utilising a pre-existing Nissen Hut that was already in place. The football club also managed to improve the ground’s entrance by obtaining a turnstile from another local football club, Thamesside Amateurs
Unfortunately, in 1987 the roof of the clubhouse was destroyed by a fallen tree during the hurricane and had to be replaced. Soon afterwards, the roof of the stand was removed and eventually replaced with a new iron alternative. At that time, green was the chosen colour. However, over time this has changed to become red which matches the primary colours and kit of the football club as it is now.
Today, Wested Meadow keeps tradition at the core of its setup. Its continued maintenance and development is achieved mainly through the ongoing hard-work and devotion from the current Chairman of Crockenhill FC, Steve Cullen.
Matchday Refreshments
Open to everyone on all scheduled home matches, the Wested
Meadow Ground offers an onsite clubhouse and tea bar. Both the
tea bar and clubhouse offer a wide range of alcoholic drinks, hot
and cold drinks as well as hot and cold snacks, all at very reasonable
prices. Sky Sports television and a pool table are on offer in the
clubhouse.
AEI Sports Football Club warmly welcomes and encourages all players, match officials and
team supporters to take advantage of the clubhouse and tea bar facilities. Whether it be
before the match kicks-off, during the match, or after the match has finished, come in to
grab some refreshments and have a chat amongst plenty of local football nostalgia.

Last Time Around ….. Previous Seasons
For the second week in a row, AEI would face Old Ash Tree. An awful day’s weath-
er would not dampen AEI’s day as three valuable points earned, continues AEI’s
march towards an ultimately unbeaten league season.
AEI Sports goalscorers for the afternoon are Paul Hisee (pictured) with a brace, Mo
Kamara and Tom Brown.
An unfortunate cup drawing of the top two in Rochester & District Division Six
sees AEI Sports and Hoo Institute ‘A’ go head-to-head.
A competitive and physical match sees AEI lose out in the early bragging rights
between the two teams. Hoo would go on to win Division Six with AEI finishing
second.
The AEI Sports goalscorer for the afternoon is Mo Kamara with a brace. Paul
Hisee sees red and ensures AEI have to play out the match with ten men.

AEI’s early season league struggles continue as they succumb to Premier Division
rivals Insanity, at home. A 4-1 defeat continuing AEI’s poor start to the league
season. The AEI consolation goal of the afternoon comes from Moses Alausa
