    Advertisement Designing Contest (RACHANATMAKTA)

    Department of management, LPU is pleased to announce National Level Ad Designing Competition -

    RACHANATMAKTA. This is a golden chance to showcase your creativity, innovation and thoughts through advertising

    design on a given theme.

    Students and faculty members can participate in this National Advertising Design Contest and Win Rs. 10,000

    cash prize for First position and Rs. 5,000 for second position.

    Rules and regulation for contest are attached below. They have to make the advertisement on the Kundan kidney care

    (Case attached below). Submit your entries at [email protected]

    Last date to submit the Entries 23rd April 2012 Date of presentations of selected entries- 28th April 2012

    ANNEXURE-I1. Each team will consist of two participants2. Advertisements are to be designed for Kundan Kidney Care (Details are given in the case study in

    Annexure II).

    3. The participants will have to prepare three different categories of advertisements out of thefollowing categories:

    Category 1: Video Advertisement (Compulsory for all Teams)

    Optional Categories: Select any two categories to prepare the advertisements -

    Optional Category 2: Web Banner Optional Category 3: Print Advertisement Optional Category 4: Radio Advertisement Optional Category 5: E-mail Advertisement

    THE EVENT WILL BE CONDUCTED AS FOLLOWS:

    I. The participating teams have to prepare advertisements for Kundan Kidney Care as per the caseprovided in Annexure II.

    II. They will be required to submit their video ad or storyboard and the two advertisements from theoptional category by sending a mail to [email protected] latest by 23

    rdApril 2012.

    III. Main presentation: The selected teams will have to present all three advertisements (One Video andany two from the optional categories). Maximum time allotted to each team for presentation of

    advertisements will be 10 minutes. Video advertisement should not be more than 120 seconds. Date

    of presentation: 28th April 2012.

    GENERAL GUIDELINES:

    a. Judgement will be based on the Novelty, Relevance to situation, Creativity and Overall Impact of theadvertisements.

    b. The Advertisements should be Original in content and idea.c. The Language of Advertisements can be English/Hindi only.d. All Advertisements should adhere to ethical standards.e. The Judgement of the Panel is final and binding.f. The files for advertisement shall be sent across to the email address provided only.g. The selected contestants have to be present at the University campus Block 14 on 28th April 2012.

    Mission: The Kundan Kidney Care Centre is committed to Ayurvedic medical principles in partnership with modern

    Company Profile: The Kundan Kidney Care Centre established in 1974 is an association of Ayurvedic doctors whose

    priority concern is providing care and relief to people living with chronic kidney disease. Alternative herbal treatments

    provided at the Kundan Kidney Care Centre are tailored to each patients individual symptoms, blood work and medicalhistory.

    Doctors:The Kundan Kidney Centres team is comprised of Ayurvedic doctors; they all have been through a rigorous

    program of study that takes six years to complete. They also have years of practice in treating kidney patients.

    Products: The Kundan Kidney Care Centre manufactures their own supplements to help patients with chronic kidney

    disease. The herbs in the products are carefully chosen and have known safety profiles. Herbs are bought from their

    indigenous regions to ensure that the proper climate, soil and water crucial to the content of active ingredients are

    present.

    Once the herbs arrive at the manufacturing plant, they are examined macroscopically by the Master Pharmacist. All

    products are manufactured under the GMP1

    certification guidelines to ensure the highest effectiveness. All Kundan

    Kidney Care products are tested twice, once by the manufacturer and then by an independent third party lab (SGS2).

    Additional tests are performed to ensure that the products are absolutely free of any external chemicals, metals orsteroids.

    Centres: We currently have two domestic and two international centres. We are in the midst of opening another centre

    in Sri Lanka.

    in modern medicine. The two options offered by modern medicine are dialysis or transplant. Having this disease can be

    very stressful physically, mentally and financially.
