Evangelist Farquharson, a powerful woman of God, was ably assisted by mem- bers of the new congregation of Mangrove Cay and a team of ve persons who travelled from New Providence. Each evening the hearts of the members and visitors alike were warmed as they eagerly received God’s messages of grace, conviction, and love. At the end of the cru- sade, 13 precious souls were baptized with others making commitment to follow Christ. The worship was enriched with the melodious and spir- it-lled sanctuary choir of the Message of Hope Seventh- day Adventist Church from New Providence. They effec- tively closed out this spirit- lled crusade as they teamed up with the Holy Spirit and lled the air with heavenly music on Saturday, Novem- ber 3, 2012. The host pastor, Asha Dane Duncan, was an inspiration as he joined the team in the quest to represent Christ in a meaningful way. On the last Sabbath of the Crusade, the membership was blessed by a visit from the President of the South Baha- mas Conference, Pastor Paul Scavella. He encouraged the brethren and made a commit- ment to establish an edice in that area before the end of the year. This announcement evoked great excitement, and the community looks forward to the grand occasion. A Branch Sabbath School was established in Mangrove Cay in January 2012 and since that time 30 precious souls have been bap- tized. The last ve baptisms were on Sabbath November 3, 2012.
