Cell phones have become inseparable part of our life. Easy portability is the most exciting advantage about the Cell phones. Purpose of cell phone is that anywhere, anytime you can make a call. But there is a term called Cell phone Jammer. This term functions against the purpose mentioned above. These jammers actually block the cell phone calls.  The best examples where these jammers are used are Cinema theaters,Temples, Hospitals, Libraries and in few other restricted areas where people are not supposed o talk. Also they are used to block unnecessary calls like advertisement calls, etc. In any case, there are advantages and disadvantages and Cell phone jammers are no exception. Thieves, kidnappers and people who involve in some illegal issues misuse these jammers in such a way that victim cannot contact cops or anybody else for help over phone.

Due to large number of people started misusing these jammers many nations had banned this service. They felt like these jammers sometimes blocks the emergency calls to cops, doctors and it ultimately spoils the advantages of cell phones. But still the government of few of these nations legalizes the possession of these jammers but without legal permissions usage of these jammers is prohibited and usage of these jammers in public areas is declared as offense. But these jammers are recommended for use or even they are proposed to be a mandatory service in certain areas by most of the countries. During military operations for privacy and safety reasons these jammers are recommended. In banks and prisons cell phones have been used as an important accessory to do theft. In order to avoid these problems, cell phone jammers are used in banks and prisons to ensure security.

These jammers look like cell phones and similar to mobile phones before usage they should be charged. The sizes of these jammers vary according to their usage. It varies from pocket size to room size. Though these kinds of jammers are banned by many nations, they are easily available online that too at affordable rates. The technical aspect behind these jammers is that they generate radio frequencies as same as that of mobile signals to break up the contact between tower and mobile phone. Some of the jammers come with certain facilities like filters. The filters are known as frequency filters and they are set to a certain frequency.
