WPRs are being deployed increasingly world wide:On airports (more than 15); In networks:
US (33, 400 MHz), Japan (25, 1 GHz), Korea (10, 1 GHz), UK (2, 50MHz; 3, 1 GHz), Germany (4, 400 MHz), France(1, 50 MHz; 2 1 GHz).
WPRs are providing more than just winds (wind shear, turbulence, tke, Cn², BL height, precipitation information (convective/stratiform), virtual temperature…) to multiple end users simultaneously.
