Man-Down Protection

Should a worker fall, trip or lose

consciousness the Opus T6 will

detect that it is no longer upright.

This will activate a countdown

timer and audibly alert the user.

If the radio remains ‘down’ when

the timer expires, an alarm signal

is sent to other Opus T6 users.

They will receive an alert and

the affected users I.D. will be

verbally announced.

The orange ‘panic button’ will

instantly activate the alarm

signal and a lone-worker timer

is also available as an additional

protection measure.

A range of external devices,

such as autodiallers, can also be

activated automatically in these

emergency situations.
