• Precision Xtra™ and Precision™
POC Blood Glucose Test Stripsare different. Please refer toyour test strip instructions foruse for important informationabout sample types that maybe used with these test strips.
• Precision™ POC Blood GlucoseTest Strips are for use byhealthcare professionals only.
Potential Infection Risk:Healthcare professionals performingblood tests with this system onmultiple patients must always weargloves and should follow theinfection control policies andprocedures approved by their facility.
How Your Precision XtraAdvanced DiabetesManagement System WorksWhen you insert a test strip intoyour monitor, the Apply Bloodmessage shows on your monitor’sdisplay window. When a bloodsample or control solution sample isapplied to the test strip, the glucoseor ß-Ketone reacts with thechemicals on the test strip. This reaction produces a smallelectrical current that is measured. The result shows on your monitor’s display window.
