Mercyhurst is one of the few colleges that offer discounted tuition rates for adult students. We are experts at finding financial aid for students who qualify. Special scholarships and grants are available to the following individuals:

• Those with significant financial need

• Veterans

• Those who have earned an associate degree

• Graduates of Mercyhurst North East, West or Corry

• Employees of businesses in the North East, Corry or Girard/Lake City Chambers of Commerce

Mercyhurst also offers math and writing refresher courses at a signif icantly reduced cost. Information submitted on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to determine eligibility for state and federal aid. All adult students are encouraged to file a FAFSA. There is no charge for this service. Plus, all adult applicants are automatically considered for Mercyhurst scholarships. No other application is necessary.

Adult student applicants for the undergraduate programs must be four or more years out of high school and have a diploma or GED. SAT test is not required.
