Adult Dual Credit Application Information: Applications are found on the board website www.tvdsb.ca/Adult and Continuing Education. We offer Adult Summer Dual Credits starting July 3/19, ending July 12/19 The application on-line is designed so you can type the information into the fields. Typed applications are our PREFERENCE,however, we will accept handwritten applications. Please submit your completed application to:

Fanshawe College Dual Credit Summer School Course Offerings: Production Techniques-Digital Photography (PHOT-1008) Course Length: 45 hrs- 7.5 days/6 hrs/day Dates: July 3/19 to July 12/19 Times: 9:00am to 3:30pm Location: Fanshawe College Main Campus, Oxford St, London Transportation: Students will be provided bus tickets within London area. A shuttle will be provided from Fanshawe St
Thomas or Fanshawe Woodstock if required Parking: Parking is at student’s expense Cost: Course and personal protective equipment is provided at no cost This course introduces the student to the production techniques that occur using a computer after images are captured with a camera. Students will learn how to use professional image management software (Adobe Photoshop) to import, organize and process raw files. Students will learn basic image editing skills that will allow them to colour correct, size and enhance photographs, and to produce professional quality digital images and prints in both colour and black and white. Theory: 5% Practical: 95% Methods of Evaluation: In class work/participation (10%), 4 photo assignments (10% each), 4 quizzes (10% each), Final Project (10%)

Adult Dual Credit Student Expectations You are interested in applying to the Adult Dual Credit program. Great Decision! Please read the information outlined below. Please review the expectations below and sign that you have read and are in agreement with the following.
Thames Valley Adult & Continuing Education:
Attend school regularly; Maintain marks representative of your ability; Submit all assignments on time; Refrain from using all forms or social media and electronic entertainment while in the classroom
COLLEGE EXPECTATIONS:
Appropriate conduct that portrays a positive image upon yourself, your classmates and the Thames Valley District School Board.
Behavior and maturity consistent with an adult-oriented community college learning environment; Attendance: attendance is critical to achieving success in a community college environment. Inconsistent
attendance will result in a failure to achieve the expectations as outlined for a dual credit course and a permanent failing grade on a college transcript.
You must meet the expectations of any dual credit course as outlined by the college instructor. This may include, but not be limited to, attending field trips or reach ahead activities as part of the Adult Dual Credit program expectations;
IMPORTANT FACTS: You must meet the expectations of the college course in order to be granted the high-school credit. In
some college courses a pass may be over 60%. Course expectations are determined by the college professor.
Practical courses require good attendance and being prepared each day to participate in the learning environment. Items such as books, pens, pencils, and personal protective equipment (PPE) are required each day.
Colleges do not shut down for P.A. days. Your attendance at the college on scheduled P.A. days may be required

This recording may be posted publicly on the Thames Valley District School Board corporate website and shared outside of TVDSB. This will allow us to share ideas and experiences with other teachers, administrators and community partners throughout the Thames Valley District School Board, with other boards and potentially with other members of the public. We require your parent/guardian signature in order to grant permission for your child to be video recorded/ photographed as part of this project. The video recording/photograph is for training or demonstration purposes and may be used over an indefinite period of time.
