St. Patrick’s Day with the
Parting Glass Band. Enjoy lively
music featuring the Clancy
Brothers, Dubliners, Wolf Tones
and other Irish/Celtic tunes. Refreshments will be served.

healants and create a
purifying clay mask and
lemongrass body scrub.
CLAY SCULPTING Weds., May 3 & Mon., May 15 @ 6:30 pm Professional sculptor and art teacher, Debbie Luna will introduce students to a
creative hands-on experience with clay. This is a two-part class. Must attend
both classes. Limit 10.
CHARCOAL DRAWING Thurs., May 18 @ 6:30 pm Artist, Diane Kominick-Ouzoonian will help you to discover contour, values and
shading to create a finished drawing of a vegetable or fruit. Limit 15.

Ages 5+ Learn about the varied and
sometimes strange uses of some not-so-
common herbs and spices. Listen to the story of
Strega Nona and make a cinnamon pinecone
creature. This program is hosted by Master Gardner Volunteers
of Rockland County’s Cornell Cooperative Extension.

Ages 10+ Even fairies need houses! Come
to this magical program and make your
own fairy house!
Mother’s Day Craft Fri., May 12 @ 4:15 pm
Ages 6-10 Show your mom you’re her
biggest fan! Surprise her by making a
present using silk flowers, ribbons and beads. Limit 12

the Library Board policy requires one adult for every

The library brings you back in time with the
Teen Room. Why shouldn’t we have a party
to match? Help plan the party of a lifetime.
You’re the judge, the greaser, the “Soc” and the
nerd. This is your room and your time to make your
voice known. In this committee you will also have an
ear with the library so help make the library
somewhere you’d want to be from the 50’s to now!
Trivia Battle Every Mon. Starting April 3 @ 4:30 pm
Is your head filled with seemingly useless
knowledge? Well not anymore! The library
has trivia nights now just for you. So come crown
yourself trivia master. Lay claim to your empire. Bring
your friends, have a team. Win a prize. But most
importantly, win points toward the big prize at the
end of the month. We’ll bring the snacks; you bring
your big brains.
Geeks Assemble Weds., April 5, 19, May 3, 17 & 31 @ 3:30 pm
Obsessed with a show, video game or
movie? Maybe superheroes and comics
catch your eye or maybe it’s a movie
franchise that makes your heart aflutter.
Obsessed with basically anything? Come
be a geek, a freak, a dork, whatever you want to be
at the library. We’ll talk about all of it, make crafts,
watch videos and maybe play games. No
judgment, just geeky love for geeky and pop culture
things.
Crime Mystery Party Thurs., April 20 @ 6:00 pm
Someone is missing! Are they dead?
Are they hiding from something more
sinister? Who is to blame? Well for one
night and one night only the line between you and
the person next to you is thin. Are they a detective, a
witness or victim? Which one are you? The library
may hold secrets, but you may hold more. Wear
your fanciest clothes and accuse your friends of
murder!
Photography Club Mon., May 8 @ 5:30 pm
You’ve got the camera, now use it. If you
don’t know how, we’ll teach you.
Photographs are just waiting for you to push the
button, set up the framing, adjust the lighting and
click. Enjoy the company of other photo enthusiasts.
Maybe you will take the next brilliant photo of the
library. Maybe we’ll hang it up. But, you have to
come first.
