Challenge Celebrity Cruises needed a tablet-based mobile app to enable its Future Cruise sales teams to walk enthusiastic guests through cruise promotions featuring deep discounts while still onboard. The app had to transform the existing onboard sales process by replacing paper brochures and slow-loading mobile content that created bottlenecks and risked putting a damper on an otherwise spectacular cruise.

SolutionThe luxury cruise line chose the Adobe solution to develop its sales enablement app. The app lets sales staff immerse guests in rich destination videos, detailed port itineraries, 360-degree stateroom views, and interactive deck plans. Qantas created an iPad version that mirrored the print edition, but customers rarely engaged with it more than once. The airline needed a cost-effective mobile app to free content from the monthly magazine framework and give it new life for readers anytime, anywhere.

SolutionQantas used the Adobe solution to develop a new Qantas Magazine app that replaced the iPad replica of the print magazine with an interactive version for smartphones and iPads. The app retains the beautiful graphics and design of the print magazine, but makes the content far more flexible. Rather than saving the entire magazine, for instance, readers can keep individual articles such as destination guides on their phones. The popular magazine is now more usable and valuable than ever.
