MVJ Pre-University College was established in 2013, under the aegis of Gayatri Educational Foundation in order

to provide quality education to the enthusiastic youth who aspire to become professionals in their chosen field.

MVJ Pre-University College is situated in a lush green integrated Wi-Fi campus near ITPB, Whitefield,

Bangalore. Being away from din, dust and pollution of the city and yet close enough to reach the city quickly, its

location is ideal for education. The sprawling campus has extensive facilities such as spacious classrooms,

seminar halls, well equipped labs, auditorium, cafeteria, internet center, gymnasium etc. The specific advantage

on campus in one of high interactivity between students of various courses and multi-cultural atmosphere which

immensely adds to the development of students to face the challenges of the modern world.

Research, Experience & Analysis has time in again shown that the 2 years of Pre-University studies is the most

critical years that defines a students career path. Parents are on a look out for the right combination of college

and coaching centre to help their children excel in the board exams as well as in competitive exams. To address

this need MVJ Group of Institutions with its more than 30 years of experience in providing high quality graduate

and postgraduate courses has developed a curriculum and learning system to ensure each of its students are

prepared to excel in the board exams. In addition MVJ Pre-University College has partnered with BASE, a leader

in training students for competitive entrance exams for engineering and medical. Through this collaboration

MVJ Pre-University College and BASE will provide an Integrated learning environment.

About BASE

Apart from preparing our students for board exams MVJ Pre-University College helps students prepare for

entrance exams such as CET, COMED-K, JEE-MAIN, and AIPMT to enable excellence in delivery of these value

added programmes. MVJ Pre-University College has partnered with BASE to develop an Integrated Learning

environment for all pre-university science students.

MVJ Pre-University College-BASE Integrated Learning Centre is a vibrant environment that offers all the

necessary resources, to enable the students to become a eager learner and excel in the board and competitive

exams.

With innovative class scheduling, MVJ Pre-University College-BASE ensures that apart from addressing board

syllabus and other laboratory sessions, additional training is provided for specific competitive examinations in

the fields of engineering and medicine , right within the regular hours of the institutions.

BASE, founded in 1991 by Dr. H. S. Nagaraja, is today a vibrant organization focused on educational services,

with a wide range of offerings in student training, teacher training and consultancy.

Each year, more students qualify into IITs from BASE than all the other competing institutions in Karnataka put

together, highlighting BASEs leadership.

BASE is also a pioneer in several other initiatives. It is known in the industry for its uncompromising standards in

teaching-learning processes. BASEs research efforts give the edge in preparing the program objectives and

content.

Criteria for ScholarshipFor percentage greater than 95% - 75% scholarship

For percentage greater than 90% - 50% scholarship

For percentage greater than 85% - 25% scholarship

Admission to courses offered by MVJ Pre-University College will be based on academic merit only.

Should have passed the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination/ICSE/CBSE

or any other examination recognised by the Board as equivalent thereto

Have secured a minimum of 80% or equivalent in their 10 grade

Students who desire to apply for admission in the two-year Pre-University course may collect the

application form by visiting the admission cell at the campus or may write to for

soft copy of application form.

The completed application form along with all the relevant documents may be submitted in person to

the admission cell at the campus or mailed/ courier to the college email-id/address.

List of selected applicants will be communicated to visit the college campus and complete their

admission formalities.

Parent /guardian is required to confirm the admission by paying all the necessary fees within 2 days of

selection

Kindly note granting of admission is the solo decision of MVJ Pre-University College.

In its endeavor to impart knowledge to the deserving and meritorious students, MVJ Group in remembrance of

its founder and to take forward his legacy, has instituted scholarships for academic excellence through

Dr. M V Jayaraman foundation for its Postgraduate, Undergraduate and Pre-University programmes.

Each year the foundation provides a large number of scholarships across all its programmes. The foundation

proposes 30 scholarships for students being admitted for Pre-University programmes at MVJ Pre-University

College under the merit scholarship category.

We view this mission not as corporate philanthropy, but as value creation; a drive that will have a fundamental

and strategic impact on Indias future.

This scholarship is awarded to meritorious students who have displayed academic excellence at the 10th grade

examination. The Scholarship would include waiver of Annual college fees. For more details view the college
