1. New admission to class VI & IX in Sainik School Imphal for the academic session 2020-21 will be carried out shortly. Due to the prevailing situation, it has been decided to carry out ONLINE ADMISSION. The date of joining as well as joining instructions will be available later on at the school’s web site. 3. It is reiterated that the requisite scanned documents are to be E-mailed latest by 03 June 2020. After carrying out scrutiny of the documents, the parents will be intimated by E-mail to deposit the requisite fees. 4. It may please be noted that if the requisite scanned copies mentioned at para 2 (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (k), (l), (m), (n), (o), (p), (q), (r), (s) and (t) are not forwarded via E-mail by 03 June 2020, it will be presumed that the parent is not interested in admitting his son in this school and the seat allotted to his son will be withdrawn and allotted to the next candidate in the waiting list. 5. the context or the meaning thereof be deemed to include the Principal of Sainik School IMPHAL, MANIPUR)

on the other part.

the Sainik School IMPHAL, inter-alia on the terms and conditions hereinafter appearing for the purpose of

receiving education with a view to making the Regular Armed Forces, his profession in life if considered by

the appropriate authority to be suitable and if there is any vacancy and if he be selected.

NOW IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between the parties hereto as follows:-

That, in consideration of the student being admitted by the Governors to the Sainik School for the

purpose of the aforesaid education at the request of the Guarantor, he the guarantor covenants with the

Governors that the student will attend the Sainik School regularly and will observe and comply with all the

rules and regulations thereof for the prescribed period or until he is declared fit for admission to any

institution as may from time to time be prescribed by the Governors for training for entry to the Regular

Armed Forces and that, the guarantor shall pay to the Governors regularly and promptly and whenever

called upon to do so all the fees as prescribed if he is not in receipt of any scholarship.

That, if for any reasons not beyond the control of either the student or the guarantor, the student fails

to pursue his studies at the said school before appearing for selection for entry to any institution as may from

time to time be prescribed by the Governors for training for entry to the regular Armed Force or fails to

appear for the said selection, or in the event of his not succeeding in the said selection, fails to reappear for

selection till such time as his age permits him to do so according to the rules and regulations for the time

being in force or having been declared successful at the said selection does not proceed to one of the said

institutions to which may be directed to proceed for being trained for entry into the Regular Armed force or

having joined the said institution fails to complete the training there for entry into the Regular Armed Force

after completing the training at the said institution then and in any such case the guarantor shall forthwith

pay to the Governors in cash the sum the student has received from the school and/ or the State

Government/Central Government the value of the scholarships he has received for the period the student

was at the said school.

That, if after admission any of the following viz, proof of domicile, certificate of age and statement of

income supplied by the guarantor, if found to be false in any way or not in other the guarantor shall forthwith

pay to the Governors in cash the sum the student has received from the school and or the State

Government/Central Government the value of scholarships he has received for the period the student was at

the said school.

That, if after admission, the student is found to be medically unfit in any way at the time which might

according to the opinion of the appropriate medical authorities, render him unfit for his entry into the Regular

Armed Forces, the student will be withdrawn at once; but it would be open to the guarantor to retain him at

the school on payment of the full fee prescribed by the Governors from the date the student is found

medically unfit.

The guarantor hereby confirms that he fully understands that his son/ward will undergo education at

Sainik School IMPHAL with his full and free consent and at his own risk and that he or his son/ward shall not

be entitled to claim any compensation or other relief from the Governors in respect of any injury which his

son/ward may sustain while in the school or where bodily infirmity or death results in the course of or as a

result of surgical operation performed upon or an anaesthesia administered to him for the treatment of such

injury received as aforesaid or otherwise. All expenses that may be incurred in the treatment of such injuries

will be borne by the parent/guardian as provided in the rules of the said school.

The guarantor hereby authorises the Principal, Sainik School Imphal to give consent on his behalf

for any surgical operation administration of anaesthesia, on medical advice where the time does not permit

to obtain his written consent to this effect.

In the event of any question, dispute or difference arising under this agreement (except as to any

matters the decision of which is specially provided for by this Agreement), the same shall be referred to the

sole arbitration of an officer appointed by the Secretary, Ministry of Law, Government of India, New Delhi. It

will be no objection that arbitrator is a Government servant and that he had to deal with matters to which the

contract relates. The award of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties to the contract. In the

event of the arbitrator retiring or being unable to act for any reason, it shall be lawful for the Secretary to

nominate another arbitrator.

The arbitrator may, from time to time, with the consent of the parties, enlarge the time for making the

award.

Subject as aforesaid, the arbitration Act 1940 and the rules framed thereunder and any statutory

modifications thereto shall apply to the arbitration proceedings under this clause.

(a) 1st instalment: 70 % of Tuition fee, Dietary charges and ancillary charges in full is required to be paid at the time of admission i.e. Rs.1,26,800/- for General Category,Rs.1,25,300/- for SC/ST Category and the remaining 30% to be deposited latest by 10 Oct, 2020 along with Rs.100/- per instalment as administrative charges. Dues in full can also be paid in one lump sum without administrative charges. (b) The fees mentioned above should be paid to this school’s bank account through NEFT / Net Banking remittance. Please refer to para 3 of instructions for bank details under the head scholarship & fees. (c) The amount of scholarship will be credited to the cadet’s bank account by the State Govt.
