inutes from the brilliant blue

waters of the Atlantic Ocean,

the front entrance of

Admiral’s Cove in Jupiter is

approached by an inland

road. Which makes what you encounter when you

drive through the gates of this luxe yachting and golf

community all that more extraordinary.

Suddenly, like stepping from Venice’s Santa Lucia

railway station onto the banks of the Grand Canal,

you are transported to a community crisscrossed with

more than six miles of waterways and populated with

boats. Palm trees stand like sentinels along the road-

ways and canals, while magnificent homes reaching in

excess of 10,000 square feet and $12 million line the

waterfront, with boats outside their back doors.

There are not many places to be found like this in

the world, never mind in this corner of Florida. Few

private communities offer both yachting and golf,

few have such a low density of homes (less than 900

residences), and even fewer feature as much water as

this exclusive, award-winning community enviably

located on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Where else can you dock boats up to 130 feet in

a protected deepwater marina (it once served as

Palm Beach’s hurricane refuge) inside your private

community and still be so close to the open ocean?

With the Jupiter Inlet just two miles north and no fixed

bridges in between, getting to your favorite fishing

grounds is a breeze. Members also love weekend trips

to the Bahamas (only 50 nautical miles away), cruising

north to St. Augustine, south to Key West, or crossing

Florida via Lake Okeechobee to the Gulf of Mexico.

Wherever your destination, the club’s 74-slip, full-

service marina caters to every boating need with the

help of a marina concierge and a ship’s store that

stocks provisions, equipment, and gear.

As would be expected at a premier club, the golf

experience is exceptional and uncrowded. With golf

membership capped at 700 members and 45 superbly

maintained holes of golf, members can always get a tee

time. Equally as important, you can always find a game

here, too. One of the most pleasurable ways is through

the Lunch Group. Typically consisting of 30–50 players

a day, they enjoy team games plus skins and side bets,

ending their outings with a variety of social activities.

The beautifully designed East course takes full ad-

vantage of its setting along the waterways with pleas-

ing elevation changes that provide an experience as

picturesque as it is challenging. The three nines on the

Village side of the club, with pine trees replacing palm

trees, have more of a Carolina feel in addition to a new

state-of-the-art short game facility.

While the yacht-filled canals and

emerald-green fairways are eye-catching,

the magnificent homes steal the show.

You won’t find more spectacular or

more luxurious homes anywhere in

Florida. Styles run from Mediterranean

to contemporary; sizes from 2,000 to in

excess of 10,000 square feet.

The community is so unique and

desirable that even after 25 years people

continue to build new homes. For those

who want new construction, there are

plenty of opportunities.

Opened in the late 1980s, Admiral’s

Cove has been in the capable hands of its

members for more than a decade. The

community is financially strong and great

care has been taken to keep its spectac-

ular amenities (including a health and

fitness center, full-service spa and salon,

and tennis complex), and services fresh.

In 2002, a $23 million revitalization

included a complete renovation of the

clubhouses and the Golf Village courses.

The East course was renovated in 2007.

The diligence has paid dividends as it has been repeatedly

recognized as one of the nation’s top 10 private club

communities, earning the coveted Platinum Club status.

The community also takes pride in its

state-of-the-art security system that com-

bines the latest in technology with a full

staff of guards and water security patrols.

When you take into consideration the

club’s exclusivity, unique system of canals,

location on the Intracoastal, unbeatable

combination of yachting and golf, an high-

end amenities and homes, there is no place

quite like Admiral’s Cove. Whether it is the

first time or the hundredth time driving

through the gate, members always feel as

though they have arrived.

Prospective buyers can experience the

posh lifestyle, if only for a weekend,

through a Stay and Play Package, exclusive

to clients of Admiral’s Cove Realty. The

package includes your flight into nearby

Palm Beach International Airport, round-

trip limo service to the club, two nights in

one of the five-star club suites overlooking

the marina, golf or tennis, the spa and

fitness center, and dining at any of the

club’s restaurants. Call 561.744.8800 for

full details and availability.
