    Acts 4:13-24 (NKJ)

13 Now when they saw the boldness ofPeter and John, and perceived thatthey were uneducated and untrainedmen, they marveled. And they realizedthat they had been with Jesus.

14 And seeing the man who had beenhealed standing with them, they couldsay nothing against it.

15 But when they had commanded them togo aside out of the council, they

conferred among themselves16 saying, "What shall we do to these

men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle

has been done through them is evident toall who dwell in Jerusalem, and wecannot deny it.

17 "But so that it spreads no further amongthe people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man inthis name."

18 And they called them andcommanded them not to speak at all

nor teach in the name of Jesus.19 But Peter and John answered and

said to them, "Whether it is right in thesight of God to listen to you more thanto God, you judge.

20 "For we cannot but speak thethings which we have seen andheard."

21 So when they had furtherthreatened them, they let them go,

finding no way of punishing them, because of the people, since they allglorified God for what had been done.

22 For the man was over forty yearsold on whom this miracle of healinghad been performed.

23 And being let go, they went to theirown companions and reported all thatthe chief priests and elders had said tothem.

Passion: an intense, driving or overmastering conviction that de- mands action.

The key to powerful cell groupministry is a leader who pas-sionately pursues the vision ofcells as being the life of thelocal church to which the cellbelongs.

A cell that is full of life is leadby a leader driven with theconvict-ion that the life of thechurch takes place in cells!

The degree of that convictiondetermines the degree of pas-sion the leader possesses and

    displays.Leaders reproduce their own

    kind.

You can have two cell groups

side by side, both built on thesame foundation, both carefullyfollowing the guidelines of thecell structure and system towhich it is attached.

Yet one excels in impacting thecommunity and attracting othersinto it far greater than the other.

Why does this scenario existpractically in every cell church?

Because somewhere along theway, in the midst of all theequipping, strategies and str-

ucture, one leader caught pas-sion while the other leadercaught a plan!

Passion at the leadership levelis what keeps cells from becom-ing another program.
