Continuing Medical Education (CME) consists of educational activities that serve to maintain, develop

or increase the knowledge, skills and professional performance of a doctor. Beyond medical school and

houseman-ship, each doctor needs to keep himself or herself current with changes in medicine generally and

in areas relevant to his own practice in particular. Patients and society at large also want to be assured that the

doctors they consult are practicing up-to-date medicine and offering them good quality care.

The main purpose of our CME Programme is to provide family physicians and health care professionals high

quality learning opportunities that improve their competence, support their performance and preparedness for

certification/ licenses impacting the efficacy of their practice. These programmes are evidence-based, updated,

and learner-driven to enrich their continued professional education and development to improve their medical

practices.

CONTiNUiNG MEDiCAL EDUCATiON

Under the guidance of Paramapoojya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, AIMS has rapidly grown into a

formidable frontline Medical School in Karnataka supported by the commitment, experience and quality of its faculty.

MEU, the Medical Council of India’s initiative at AIMS enables faculty members to avail modern education technology

for teaching. It aims to:

AHRC was commissioned in 1990 to render affordable healthcare services to the poor

and the needy. All programmes offered here include assessed clinical experiences, an

essential component of academics, supported by purpose-built facilities & technology,

designed to replicate real-life situations. Advanced coursework is informational, yet

enriched by hands-on learning from mentors who push the boundaries of knowledge.

Today, the Hospital provides priceless teaching and training ground for AIMS

Undergraduates and Postgraduates who benefit from the experiences of renowned

doctors. To study at AIMS therefore is a matter of active learning in an atmosphere of

CODE OF CONDUCT

The inmates are governed by a strict ‘code of conduct’ laid down by the

Advisory Committee which works under the guidance of the Principal. All

stringent preventive measures are taken in accordance with the guidelines

of RGUHS and Govt. of Karnataka to prevent anti-social behaviour in the

premises.

Ragging is a prohibited act and punishable as per law•

An Anti-Ragging Code is strictly followed to the letter•

An Anti-Ragging Squad regularly visits the campus to assess situations•

It is mandatory for students to undertake pledge against ragging•

rooms to accommodate visiting officials, examiners, parents and alumni.
