The Adelaide Entertainment Centre features the most spectacular entry of any venue in Australia. The large dome structure, named The Orb, will welcome your guests in breathtaking fashion.

At night, The Orb structure comes alight in a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns. The entry also incorporates a VIP drop off area for functions to ensure your guests feel special.

The magnitude of the Arena makes it a popular choice for large banquets, conferences and trade shows. The Arena floor area can be modified to fit your requirements, expanding up to 2,680 square metres. For a spectacular banquet for 500 – 1,000 guests, the Arena is fully carpeted with dance floor and staging or is ideal for an impressive cocktail party for up to 2,000 people.

A large video wall on entry to the Arena and state-of-the-art rear projection screens suspended from the roof provide further potential for branding and theming your function.

The Arena gives clients various stage location options providing you with maximum flexibility to achieve the look and feel you are seeking.

The Arena can also be used for large conferences or seminars. A proscenium arch curtain and motorized side wall curtains enable the room to be adjusted to audience size, and new contemporary auditorium seating, mood lighting and follow spots create an impressive, comfortable ambience.

The Theatre boasts a modern interior and provides an exciting space for audio visual technology and versatility for your function. Catering for up to 720 banquet guests or 1,100 for cocktails, the Theatre can also be split into two areas, ideal for a conference and then dinner or a seminar followed by cocktails. Alternatively, dividing the room provides two separate areas for smaller functions from 240 – 360 guests.

The Theatre adjoins a Terrace which provides a stunning outdoor entertaining area. It also features a VIP Lounge on the mezzanine level, which is ideal for entertaining high profile dignitaries and a 67m long LED screen outside.

For private parties or corporate functions the Star Room is an ideal space.

Overlooking a large courtyard, the Star Room allows natural light and great versatility for more intimate gatherings. Its innovative design and warm appeal makes it perfectly suited to private functions, including wedding receptions or seminars, networking forums and dinners for up to 220 or cocktail parties. The Star Room offers views of The Orb which adds to the stunning ambience.

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre has two very stylishly designed Lounges and Suites that are suited to smaller meetings or break out rooms to complement larger functions. The Lounge and Suite facilities provide a perfect space for VIP cocktail parties or meetings for between 10 – 60 guests.

Menus range from delicious gourmet breakfasts, morning and afternoon teas, lunches, a variety of great dinner choices or cocktail items. Whether you are entertaining 100 or 1,000 guests, the range of food and beverage options available is extensive. The creative chefs pride themselves on their innovative cuisine and food presentation and can plan the right package to suit your function and budget.

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre’s experienced team of function coordinators also work with you to ensure that your function is a success. Your coordinator will consider every element and their expertise will ensure your function runs smoothly and you enjoy the function too.

The Orb entry includes an impressive VIP drop off area for function guests at the main entry doors.

A taxi rank is also located on Port Road in front of the venue, and bus and train stops are within a short walking distance.

Close to the City, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre has convenient car parking and the tram provides free public transport to and from the City.
