• On May 31,2006 NRO EC approved the IPv6 GlobalPolicy and forwarded it to the ASO AC for action asdefined in the ASO MOU, Annex A.

• ASO AC reviewed it and found that “each RIR followedits defined policy development process to reach aposition of common agreement, and a common text todescribe the proposed global policy; finds that thesignificant viewpoints of interested parties wereadequately considered; and recommonds that theICANN Board of Directors adopt the proposed globalpolicy” (ASO 2006 July meeting minutes)

• ICANN ratified it !

• On May 3, 2006, ASO AC selected David L.Wodelet to serve a three year term on theICANN Board of Directors.

• Calls for nominations to the ICANN Boardto fill the ASO seat currently held byRaimundo Beca, whose term expires inJune of 2007.

• This nomination period closed on 21February 2007.
