WORKABILITYADDMIX@ SP75 ensures that rheoplastic concreteremains workable for a predictable extended time.The precise duration of extended workabilitydepends on the temperature, and also on the typeof cement, the nature of aggregates and method oftransportation. lt is strictly recommended thatconcrete should be properly cured afterwardspart icularly in hot and dry cl imates.

COMPATIBILITYADDMIX@ SP75 is compatible with al l waterreducers and air-entraining agents approved underASTM, AASHTO and BS specifications but itshould be dispensed separately into the concretemix. lt should only be used with water reducersafter specific testing at the recommended doserates, as certain combinations of dosages canextend retardation.

DOSAGEADDMIX@ SP75 is normally dispensed at a rate of0.7- 1.2 l i ters per 100 kg of cement. Other dosagesmay also be used depending on the specif icworking condit ions.

RATE OF HARDENINGSetting time is influenced by the chemical andphysical composition of the basic ingredients of theconcrete, temperature of the concrete and climateconditions. Trial mixes should be made with jobmaterials to determine the optimum dosagerequired for a specified setting time and a givenstrength requirement.

ADDMIX@ SP75 is introduced into the mixertogether with mixing water. The plasticizing effect orwater reduction is higher if the admixture is addedto the damp concrete after 50 - 70 % of the waterhas been added. The addition of ADDMX@ Sp75to dry aggregate or cement is not recommended asit lowers the plasticizing effect or water reduction.

STORAGEADDMIX@ SP75 must be stored at moderatetemperatures in sealed original drums.

SHELF LIFEADDMIX@ SP75 can be stored for 12 months ifstored as recommended in unopened originalcontainers.
