PROCESS DETAILS1) Liquefied gases will be transferred from the Vessel to the storage mounded bullets under

pressure. VCM, the major raw material for the PVC manufacturing plant will also be storedin the same storage area. LPG will be stored for the bottling plant and bulk tanker supplies.Other liquefied gases will be stored for trading purpose.

2) The proposed LPG Bottling Plant which will bottle the imported / indigenously procured LPGin the composite cylinders in sizes 2Kgs, 5Kgs or 10Kgs. LPG will also be bottled incommercial cylinders of 20 Kgs.

3) To desalinate the sea water, the process of Reverse Osmosis will be used after settling andclarifying the sea water. The sea water will be collected directly from the sea and thepermeate after the RO process will be sent directly to the sea through a direct pipeline to apermitted distance in the deep sea. The purified water will be used in the process.

PVC PLANT 150,000 TPA Simple polymerisation process whereinVCM (Vinyl Chloride Monomer), themajor raw material is added withadditives like Buffer (Suspension inwater), Cold and Hot DM water,emulsifier, catalyst are chargedsubsequently to POLYMERIZERS. Theheat of reaction is removed bycirculating cooling / chilled water. PVCSlurry is transferred from thepolymerizers to the stripping columnwhere VCM is recovered and stripped.The slurry is sent to dryers. The resinout of the dryers is separated in acyclone separator. Prime resin passingthrough the screen is packed in bags /bulk bags through auto packers.
