For vehicles using synthetic oil, Subaru recommends changing the oil every 6,000 miles. However, Garavel Subaru recommends changing synthetic oil no earlier than 6,000 miles, but no later than 7,500 miles; keeping in mind that the more major maintenance items that Subaru recommends are due every 15,000, 30,000 & 60,000 miles.
