Your eyes should be in line with the top of                       your monitor screen 

Head

Your head shouldremain neutral

over your spine -no leaning!

If you can't touch your screenwithout leaning, move it closer

ShouldersYour shoulders should be low, back and relaxed. 

The keyboard and armrests needto be low enough to allow for this. 

This is another reasonwhy the monitor needsto be close enough - toavoid hunching over.

armsHands and wrists should be neutral -                                 in line with the forearm  

Have space betweenkeyboard and front edge of desk

- those wrists need a break!

Elbows should be openat 90 degrees or more.

Back

Be sure to sit straightin your chair - don'tlean or twist for the

tech around you!!

Sit back in the chair to makethe most of its support.

Your back should be supported by a good chair that aidslumbar support, pelvic stabilization and blood flow.

Legs &Feet

Try not to tuck yourfeet under you - keep

them beneath yourknees 

The back of your knees should nottouch the chair - it's too small if so!

Set the chair to the correct height so that your knees areat 90 degree angles and feet are flat on the floor
