CAMP MISSION Our camp mission is to provide a complete, in-depth volleyball experience emphasizing fundamentals in order for young people to reach their full potenal. Wartburg College Volleyball Camp is a great place to improve your skills, compete against good players and learn more about the sport of volleyball from one the top coaching staffs in the state. PARENTAL RELEASE Doug Frazell, associate head coach, helped lead the 2012 squad to a 32-6 overall record, as well as a 7-0 record in the IIAC. He also helped them accomplish the most wins in school history as well as a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Coach Frazell helped guide the 2011 team to 24-11, 7- 1 record and the 2010 team to an IIAC Tourna- ment championship as well as a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Prior to Wartburg, Coach Frazell was the head coach at West Des Moines Valley High School. During his seven years there, he led the Tigers to an average of 30 wins per season, three state tournament berths, and 2 Central Iowa Metropolitan League champion- ships. Frazell also has had stops as both a gradu- ate assistant coach at the University of Nebraska and as an assistant coach at Central College. For more than a decade, he has both directed and parcipated in summer volleyball camps at the high school and collegiate level. ADD CLINIC LOCATION HERE From last year’s brochure TEAM DEVELOPMENT CAMP August 1-2 Thursday : 9am-Noon : 1:30-4pm Friday : 9am-Noon : 1:30-4pm Cost : $50/Player This two-day camp features skill development and instruc- on by Wartburg staff on Day 1, followed by team wash drills, scrimmages, and team compeon on Day 2. Wart- burg Team Development Camp provides a unique oppor- tunity to develop both individual and team skills, along with giving players a chance to train with players from oth- er schools. It is also a great opportunity for coaches to pick up helpful drills for their up-coming season. Only 6 team spots available, (10-15 players per team), so coaches register early!
