Activating a LinkedIn Learning Account
1. Go to APSU’s LinkedIn Learning website.
2. Select “LinkedIn Learning Login.”
3. Enter your APSU email in the address box and select “Continue.”
4. The system will detect that you have an organizational account. Select
“Sign in with Single Sign-On.”
5. Sign in using your APSU credentials.
6. You have the opportunity to link your LinkedIn Learning account to your
LinkedIn profile. Select “Connect my LinkedIn account” if you wish to do so.
If not, select “Continue without LinkedIn.”
If you select “Connect my LinkedIn account,” you will be asked to provide
login information for your LinkedIn profile.
Note: this screen is asking for your LinkedIn profile login information for
LinkedIn.com. It is NOT your APSU single sign-on information. For
example, this could be your Gmail or Yahoo email used to set up your
LinkedIn account.
7. LinkedIn Learning will now ask questions to help personalize your
experience. Select “Sounds good” to get started.
8. Select from the provided topics to let LinkedIn Learning know what areas
you are interested in learning about. Select “Continue” when you are done
adding topics.
9. If you want LinkedIn Learning to keep you on track with your learning goals,
you can set up a weekly goal for the number of video minutes you would
like to watch (between 15 and 120 minutes). This can also be skipped
and/or set up later.
10. That is it for set up questions. Select “Start Learning” to access LinkedIn
Learning.
11. After setup, you will see your LinkedIn Learning dashboard. Some videos
are already recommended for you and you can also use the search feature
to explore.
