LONG-TERM GOALS
The students should be provided an environment based on teaching strategies of 21st century to enable them to enhance their language and comprehension skills.

They will be provided word banks which may be obtained from the internet as well as books from where they would use new words and expressions to compose their own piece of writing. They will be taken to computer laboratory to search for new words using internet. 8

A series of questions (simple to complex) according to the Bloom’s Taxonomy will be given, which will gradually build a student’s knowledge in a way that they would reach to the conclusions themselves.

Questions which require brain storming will be given to the students. They will be given home tasks along with relevant internet links where they would be able to find activities and exercises for practice.

Interactive classroom sessions will be arranged for the students to discuss and share their ideas and information gathered from various means. i.e. Internet , magazines, newspapers etc.

There is always a language barrier, since English is not the first language of the students.
Reading habit will be inculcated. Links to online websites will be provided to read stories and learn new words.

Group activities will be introduced to promote sharing of opinions and ideas and getting students acquainted with their class fellows.
