Who is eligible to participate?

MI GEAR UP at Michigan State University provides services to those students who are currently in 8th Grade (graduating class of 2017)* and attend one of the following schools:

Albion School District

Paul Robeson/Malcolm X Academy (Detroit)

Middle School at Parkside (Jackson)

Lansing STEM Academy

Gardner Academy (Lansing)

Pleasant View Magnet School (Lansing)

Eastern High School (Lansing)

Sexton High School (Lansing) * We will be following the Class of 2017 through their freshman year of college.
