Why ILD???!

Ambient temperature affects negatively on drive’s output current Higher ambient temperature means less output current

ILD means: no need to derate, calculate or guess right drive ratings at 50 °C

Simplifies drive selection Meets low cost motor current ratings

Low cost motors have normally higher current ratings compared to high efficiency motors

built-in energy efficiency counters that work out energy savings of the application in kWh and MWh; the cost of the energy saved in a local currency; and the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions equivalent of the energy saved
