The organizers are pleasedto invite you and your students to attend itsSecond International Conference onContemporary (Post-1960) Indian Languagesand Literatures.
Dharangaon is a very important trading centreas a production centre of handloom sarees anda store house of the British traders. It is namedafter the Dharani waterbody in its midst. It is thebirthplace of the famous Marathi poet- BalkaviThombare. It is blessed by the presence of twoGanapati temples- unique Twin Ganesh Idols atPadmalaya (about 20 kms) and ChintamaniGanesh just in front of the Venue of theConference. Dharangaon is equi-distanced(about 20 kms) from Parola, Erandol, Jalgaon(on Surat-Nagar highway) and also fromAmalner-Chopda (on Dhule-KhargoneHighway. The drainage and water supplysystems have been designed by Bharat RatnaShriVishveshwarriyya. It is a railway stationbetween Jalgaon and Amalner on Surat-Bhusawal Western Railway branch line andalmost all the Express trains have a halt here.Its, Muncipal Council, Public Library andCooperative Bank are more than 100 yearsold.
P. R. Society, Dharangaon is one of the oldestinstitutes of higher education in the region. Thecollege established in the year 1971, is on thethreshold of its Golden Jubilee. It caters to thepopulation of more than 4000 students inmultiple faculties and upto and beyond PostGraduate classes. It has a very spaciouscampus with Hostels (both for Gents andLadies) with the accommodation of about300/400 students. It has a spacious library andall play-grounds. Dharangaon College
Management, Principal and the Teaching aswell as Non-teaching Staff and Students haveenthusiast ical ly and open heartedlyvolunteered to host this prestigious NMUETAConference.
Language is vital for daily life and existence andfor arts and humanities, sciences andtechnologies, trade and commerce, politics andeconomics, sociology and anthropology,philosophy and linguistics. Indian languagesand literatures after 1960 will be the theme ofthe three pronged activities of SecondInternational Conference on ContemporaryIndian Languages and Literatures. Though allthe Indian languages and literatures will becovered in the coming conferences, the presentconference will concentrate on themes andpapers in English, Hindi and Marathi.The papers will deal with the following areas:-1) Post-1960 English/Hindi/Marathi Literaturein India andAbroad.(2) Dialectal Studies in English/Marathi/Hindi.(3) Teaching Languages and Literatures inEnglish/Marathi/Hindi.(4) Marginalized (Women, Dalits andTr i ba ls ) in L i te ra tu res inEnglish/Marathi/Hindi.(5 ) Recent c r i t i ca l Perspect ives inEnglish/Marathi/Hindi.(6) Recent Linguistic Literary, Pragmatic,S t y l i s t i c a n d M e d i a S t u d i e s i nEnglish/Marathi/Hindi.(7) Contemporary English/Hindi/MarathiPoetry, Drama, Novel, Fictional and NonFict ional studies. (8) ContemporaryEnglish/Marathi/Hindi Language and LiteratureTeaching Techniques.
Papers should be maximum in 2000 to 2500words to be submitted in MS Word 2007, MLAstyle in Times New Roman, font size-12, singlespaced in single column on A4 size paper. Onlyoral presentation of the paper will be allotted formaximum 5/6 minutes OR 10-15 slides forvisual presentation.All papers submitted before 12 March 2016will be printed in ISSN marked peer reviewedjournals within a month after the conference.Papers should be submitted in attachment tothe following persons:
