What is the ACR?• The ACR is over 34,000 radiologists, radiation oncologists,

interventional radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and medical physicists– This includes 5,000 residents and fellows, as members in-

training• The ACR is over 400 professional staff members in Reston, Va.,

Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, PA• The ACR is more than a thousand volunteers donating their time

and talents

• Since 1966, the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) has been offering a rad-path correlation course to radiology residents.

• More than 90% of all US radiology residents attend the four-week AFIP course along with residents from a number of foreign countries.

• ACR has stepped up to the plate to sponsor a new four-week rad-path correlation course beginning in January, 2011.

• The course will be offered five times per year.• We will be able to accommodate 400 residents vs. the current 300 limit
