ACOUSTIC VOICE PREAMP

Congratulations on choosing our Acoustic Voice Preamp plugin.Thank you for purchasing it, your support and trust in us are much appreciated.

“Turn your under saddle pickup into a studio grade PRO sounding full body elite instrument” - Igor Nembrini

Based on creative techniques developed by studio engineers and producers, Acoustic Voice plugin combines guitar simulation, studio preamps and microphones, modulation, delay and reverb to create state-of-the-art acoustic soundscapes.

Great for acoustic guitars or electric guitars with a piezo, Acoustic Voice plugin promotes getting lost in creative acoustic tracks production with no boundaries.

In the Acoustic Voice plugin, you have the chance to turn your under saddle pickup into a studio grade PRO sounding full body elite instrument:

● Choose between 6 selected acoustic guitar emulations● Choose between 3 selected microphone emulations, position and distance● Compression, Chorus, Vibrato, Delay and Reverb

The main part of the Acoustic Voice plugin is the guitar emulation section, with the finest selection of legendary instruments, like Martin* 0028EC, Gibson* L00, Landola* J80E, Guild* D140CE, Ayers* DSR and Taylor* 814CEDLX.

1 - Comp: controls the amount of compression for the signal coming from the guitar. The associate LED shows the compressor activity.

2 - Grit: progressively adds distortion.

3 - Blend: mixes between input signal and the acou-stic guitar miked simulations.

4 - Input Mode: select from Magnetic and undersaddle Piezo input pickup, just experiment to your taste.

5 - Wide: controls the amount of widening of the processed input guitar, from 0% MONO to 100% WIDE, the L/R chan-nels could be have level difference caused by the mic positions, adjust it with the PAN control.

6 - Pan: adjust the stereo distribution of the guitar in to a new sound field.

1 - Low (85 Hz): very low bass, almost felt as much as heard.

2 - Mid (400Hz to 1.6kHz): sweeps from the upper warmth frequencies to the nasal range of sound. Boost at 400 for more warmth, cut at .8k-1.6k for less nasal quality. Many acoustic guitars have an excess 1kHz when amplified. A 3 to 6 dB cut is often good here.

3 - Treble (5kHz): affects “sss” sounds, cymbal sizzle, brightness. Cut here to remove PA horn “glare” or boost to add life to a dull speaker.

4 - Presence (10kHz): very highest frequencies, “air” or “frosting”.

3 - Notch: designed primarily to help with feedback problems. For example, if a particular string is starting to feedback or produce a booming sound, you can use the notch to cut out the problem frequency. The tune knob is marked with four positions, each representing a note on the scale, to help find the problem frequency. Try boosting the notch control (turn completely clockwise) and sweeping the tune knob until the feedback is at it’s worst. Then turn the notch control back towards “cut” (counter-clockwise). Cut only enough to kill the feedback. The notch control can also be used as an EQ knob. A slight cut between D and B (around 200Hz) can clarify a boomy or muddy tone, and slight boosts in this range will give a thin-sounding guitar more body and acoustic sound.

1 - Low Cut: remove the acoustic guitar low frequen-cies.

2 - High Cut: remove the acoustic guitar high frequen-cies.

1 - Rate: use the RATE knob to control the speed of the modulation effect – from slow smooth “Hi-Fi” to much more significant “Leslie” types at high speeds.

2 - Sync: activates/deactivates the synchronization of the modulation times with the hosting application tempo.

3 - Depth: use the DEPTH knob to set the intensity of the modulation effect.

4 - Mode: selects the currently active modulation : - CHORUS - TREMOLO

1 - Time: provides adjustment of delay time, when the host SYNC is on will be with time division.

2 - Sync: activates/deactivates the synchronization of the delay times with the ho-sting application tempo.

3 - Feedback: this is the amount of the signal that you’d like to feed back into the input of your delay to create echoes. The more value, the greater the number of echoes.

4 - Filter: adjust the delay filter, high value more darker sound.

5 - Mix: adjusts the mix of dry input to wet delay signal.

2 - Low Cut: remove the low frequencies from the reverb.

3 - High Cut: remove the high frequancies from the reverb

4 - Mix: adjusts the mix of dry input to wet reverb signal.
