Acoustic Pop on iTunes

Why I chose AcousticAfter looking at iTunes and the type of people that do acoustic pop such as Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Lily Allen and Jordan Sparks I found that they are all artists that I can relate to as to creating my narrative. They have all written songs about romance and love interests which made it very easy to connect to my genre of pop.

Katy Perry and Jordan Sparks growing up were two of my favourite pop artists, knowing and listening to their work I felt as though I could replicate the powerful yet acoustic style to my work.

Another person I was particularly inspired by was Taylor Swift and her newest album Red. Her old and new music all have songs that symbolise romance that I could reach out to. After watching Love Story from 2008 on YouTube.com I found that I felt involved in the concept along with the rest of the audience therefore I wanted to then portray this to others and let them have the same experience from my work.
