The company will present sustainable packaging solutions such as multi-style packaging wrappers, horizontal pillow wraps and flexible pouches. Acma & Volpak are two companies fully integrated into one organisation with a new corporate identity. The new organisation unit embraces the brands Acma, Volpak, Enflex, MC Automations, Tecnosweet and Tecnomeccanica, with manufacturing premises in Italy and Spain. According to ACMAVOLPAK, this enables the company to offer a comprehensive product portfolio. Acma will present the latest version of its SP series: horizontal flowpack machines for single products or multipacks that work at medium and high speeds, for heat or cold sealable materials. The SP series is designed for confectionery, chocolate and bakery industries and is offered with modular-row distribution systems and infeeds, with special belts for different products. The new SP series is said to be equipped with high finishing level mechanical groups and servomotors with integrated drivers. The new SP flowpack series can be equipped with a recently developed system called ‘Acma Energy Management’: the aim of which is to offer an energy efficient machine that is said to guarantee tangible improvements in the use of the end customer’s power utilities. Acma’s multistyle M888 wrapper has been developed for a range of pre- formed candies and chocolate products, as well as for handling delicate candies and flat bottom / spherical chocolate pralines, moulded and enrobed. The M888 is said to enable wrapping style and size changeover in less than 1hour. The machine can make the following packaging styles: fancy, double-end- twist, Vienna bonbon and twist on top.
