2. 資料的定義。 (ex: 資料的來源、欄位的定義 )

ACL 可讀取的資料格式• 資料庫檔（dBASE）• 說明:

– 1. 與ACCESS同為PC上最普遍的小型資料庫. 但DBASE的每一個資料表格 (TABLE), 均為一個獨立的檔棠 , 副檔名為 DBF– 2. DBF file與 Flat sequential file的主要差異為 : DBF 檔案內的開頭部分 , 會記錄該表格的組成欄位及欄位型態、長度 ; Flat sequential file 則只有資料 . 資料欄位的定義 , 由程式決定 .– 3. dBase file Windows 上最普遍的程式開發工具為Visual Foxpro– 4. MS Access也可以處理dbase file (匯出 , 匯入 , 外掛獨立表格 ).

– 1. 是一種文字檔 – 2. 特性 : 每一列表一筆記錄 , 同一筆記錄內 , 欄位與欄位之間以逗點 ( 或其他分

隔字元如空白 ,Tab…..) 隔開 , 文字欄位前後並加上雙引號– 3. Excel 可匯入及匯出 Delimited file, 其附檔名為 CSV (Comma Separated Value)– 4. 優點是去除不必要的字元 , 可節省空間 .

ACL 可讀取的資料格式• 開放資料庫連結 (ODBC)• 說明 :

– 1. ODBC 是一種資料庫與應用程式之間的界面，透過 ODBC 界面，應用程式可以很容易地和各種關連式資料庫連結並取得資料

- 2. 常見的資料庫如 Oracle, DB2, SQL Server 均有支援ODBC, 連檔案類型的資料檔如 Access (MDB), dBase ( DBF), Excel (xls) 微軟也都提供 ODBC 的連接驅動程式 .

• 磁帶（ Tape ）ACL 可以直接從磁帶 (Tape reels) 或卡帶 (Cartridges) 讀取未經轉換的資

料，但不可以用備份檔；讀取的磁帶種類包括 ½ inch 9-track tapes, IBM 3480 cartridges, 8mm tape, and 4mm DAT ，特別注意，使用這個方法，必須加裝適當的磁帶機在 PC 上。

• Data files need to be translated into a format that ACL can read and work with. This is done using an Input File Definition:

An Input File Definition (IFD) is a format used to describe the structure and content of a data file and to specify where the data file can be found

• IFD’s are defined by the user within ACL and then used by ACL to create an input file derived from the original data source.

• There are a number of steps involved in creating an IFD.

• At the end of the process, an input file will have been created, linked to the source data file using the IFD, and loaded into ACL.

The source data file location and characteristics are input into ACL and the input file is created

Using the record definition obtained from the client, the record fields are defined and named

The input file is loaded into the open ACL Project

Sec 3.2 詮譯日期 (Interpreting Dates)

設定起始紀元（ Setting the Start of Century ）如果我們日期包含四個位數 (four-digit years) 的年份並已設定 21世紀為起始元年，就不需要設定起始紀元，只有將顯示西元年後兩位的情形下，才須要設定起始紀元。
