FRANK B. DO Riverside PartnersFrank Do is a general partner of Riverside Partners, a middle market private equity firm that currently manages over $630 million and is primarily focused on investing in growing healthcare and technology- related companies owned by founders. Do opened the West Coast office of Boston-based Riverside Partners in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, he was a managing director of American Capital, Ltd. Having spent eight years with American Capital, Do was in charge of its West Coast offices with a focus on middle market buyouts. Previously, Do was a

general partner of Westar Capital. He started his twenty-year career in private equity in New York and was a principal with JP Morgan Partners. Mr. Do holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations from Claremont McKenna College and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

KEN FIRTEL Transom Capital Group Ken Firtel is a founder and managing director of Transom Capital Group, a lower middle market, operationally focused private equity firm with a specialty in buyout, turnaround and special situation transactions. Prior to founding Transom Capital, Firtel was an investment professional at Platinum Equity, a global M&A&O®

firm. Prior to joining Platinum Equity, Firtel was an attorney in the transactions department at O’Melveny & Myers. Firtel currently serves on the boards of Blue Microphones, Uncle Milton Industries,

Cinder Block, and Stresscenter Holdings and on the operating committee of SCORE, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the rehabilitation of people with spinal cord injuries. He holds a B.A. from Yale University, a M.S. from the London School of Economics and a J.D. from the USC Gould School of Law.

MICHEL GLOUCHEVITCH Riordan Lewis & HadenMichel Glouchevitch is a general partner at Riordan, Lewis & Haden, a leading Southern California private equity firm, which primarily invests in midsized growth companies. Glouchevitch returned to Riordan, Lewis & Haden in 2005 after having been a partner of the firm from 1988 to 1991. He has actively been involved in raising the firm’s most recent $260 million private equity fund from a renowned group of investors. Prior to rejoining Riordan, Lewis & Haden, Glouchevitch was a managing

director of Westar Capital. Previously, he served as a managing director and member of the investment committee at Triumph Capital Group. Glouchevitch began his career at Continental Illinois National Bank. He holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College and an M.B.A. from Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris, France.

JEREMY HOLLAND The Riverside CompanyJeremy Holland is a regional director of origination for The Riverside Company, a global private equity group focused on acquiring growing enterprises valued at up to $200 million. Since its founding in 1988, Riverside has invested in more than 245 transactions with a total enterprise value of more than $5.4 billion. Holland has been investing and acquiring companies in the lower middle market for over 12 years. Prior to joining Riverside, Holland served as a principal at Vintage Fund Management and Wedbush Capital Partners. His experience

encompasses both minority and majority ownership positions in companies ranging from the venture capital stage to established public companies as well as up and down the capital structure. Holland holds a B.S. in finance from California State University, Northridge.

HARMAN Avante Mezzanine PartnersJeri Harman is a founder and partner of Avante Mezzanine Partners, an SBIC focused on making subordinated debt and minority equity investments in sponsored buyouts and non-sponsored transactions. Prior to founding Avante, Harman started up and led Los Angeles offices for American Capital and Allied Capital. Previously she was a managing director at First Security Van Kasper and managing director at Coopers & Lybrand. Prior to that, Harman was with The Prudential Insurance

Company of America. Harman serves as co-chair of ACG LA’s Business Conference and as a director of the Women’s Leadership Council. She is also on the Board of NASBIC. Harman graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a B.S. in business administration and received an M.B.A. in finance from the University of California, Berkeley.
