ACEweb Services ACEweb allows customers a great deal of design and functionality options. However, if your institution lacks staff or time to do your own customization, ACEware Systems offers fee- based options as a service to our existing ACEweb customers. ACEweb Responsive Web Design (ACEweb RWD ) "Extreme Makeover" In recognition of the increasing demand for web sites to be viewer friendly and accessible to mobile devices, ACEware has reengineered and coded ACEweb to be responsive. Websites built with Responsive Design are recommended and preferred by Google and therefore responsive sites may be ranked higher in mobile search displays by Google’s search engines. Our makeover service includes updating the ACEweb design templates/styles—home.htm, standard.htm, minimal.htm, and any necessary style sheet changes—to reflect your existing site design (navigation links, images etc.) Images of our default design and a site that has received an extreme makeover are illustrated below. To apply your existing website design to your ACEweb site, your existing site must be responsive. If your site is not built with a responsive design, your ACEweb site will be responsive but will display in ACEware’s default template as illustrated in the left image below. Your institution’s logo and colors are incorporated into ACEware’s default design template. Please Note: ACEware will apply the design of your existing website to the ACEweb pages. ACEware Systems does not provide web design services and cannot create designs for you. Nor can we apply a design you do not own to the ACEweb site. This service does NOT include the creation of web content. All design elements (headers/footers/navigation), graphics, *javascript, flash files, and custom[web] programming you want to use on your ACEweb site must be provided to the ACEweb designer. *Javascript: ACEweb scripts take precedence over your website scripts. If your scripts conflict with ACEweb scripts, your scripts will be removed.
