Ensure that all members continue their progress toward their own individual educational goals in line with the Club’s DCP.

Plan and implement meeting schedules to include

speeches, education sessions and events to meet both individual and club objectives.

New members will receive orientation and be assigned a mentor from the mentor pool by the VPE.

Prepare budget for year 2012-13, present actual income-expenses in EXCOM

Generate revenue to meet budgetary forecasts Ensure income generation and prompt payment of rent,

food exp, TMI dues etc Assist other VPs in revenue improving activities like

membership drive, sponsorship hunt etc Documenting of each income and expense



Action Plan

Budgetary forecast of Aed15,000 for year 2012-13. Assuming 25+ members and add other incomes

Prepare income / exp voucher as a record fr all involved Release half year statement by 15 Aug and 15 Feb Make payment to TMI by 1st Oct / 1st April Plan and implement at least one revenue generation

drive to meet the target Keep members informed time and again about the

financial situation

Primary record keeper and note taker of the club• Club files – Charter, Constitution, Bye laws• Correspondences• Membership rosters• Meeting records



Action Plan Video recording of project speeches and access for

members to these files on a dedicated You tube channel.

Use of social network platforms for effective interaction of members outside the meetings – Facebook group “Ace Toastmasters Club Dubai” for members

Minutes of meeting of the previous meeting to be read at the start of each meeting

Attendance register to be maintained



SERGEANT AT ARMS

The Sergeant at arms is responsible for club property management, meeting room preparation and hospitality. The sergeant arms chairs social and reception committee

Buy a new lockable bag to keep the club properties.

Book the venue for 6 months Arrange variety of snacks within the

budget, instead of buying snacks from same supplier .
