CaseStudy WE PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL Accounting Services Manufacturing THE COMPANY Established over 30 years a niche Manufacturer located in Scotland employing over 70 staff with annual turnover in excess of £6 million and net profits in the region of £800,000 per annum. Talent pool: difficulty finding competent, reliable and self-sufficient accounting and administrative staff. THE CHALLENGE In 2004 the Company decided to look into outsourcing as a possible solution. The two Directors (and shareholders) contacted us and we arranged for them to visit our London offices. We understood their needs and informed that we were able to support them with: THE OPPORTUNITY Understandably the Company wanted to take matters one step at at time. Slowly working with us and evaluating our work and checking on a daily basis. After all this was a completely different way of working. Over a period of six months of constant review they then had the confidence to increase our workload steadily. Slowly Does It We started to provide a fully comprehensive Sales Ledger service. Raising all client invoices, maintaining the Sales Ledger, preparing outstanding statements which were emailed to their clients. Then a full Purchase Ledger service. Matching purchase orders with actual purchase invoices and delivery notes. We inform the Company of short deliveries, part orders, incorrect orders, wrong pricing and a weekly payment schedule. We prepare monthly debtors, creditor lists. Stock evaluation based on material costs, ready-made stock held at the plant and any work in progress. All Inclusive We have now been working in partnership since 2004 and provide a full back-office solution to their accounting and administrative needs. No more staff challenges, one simple fixed-fee invoice monthly. Open channels of communication daily between us and the Company. A new found confidence that when their business grows our solutions also adapts to their needs at a moments notice. We provide a total Bookkeeping service, prepare draft Accounts & Corporation Tax Returns. The Company’s Accountants completes the Audit, Accounts and Tax Returns.
