According to the result of this research, so we can get summary that going steady
in SMA Neg. 1 Maros give more disadvantages for the student’s achievement. One of
them, their reason to going steady just to look for experience and time to going steady is
more than the student’s time to study. But beside that, going steady give little advantages
too like give more spirit the students because there is support from their lover and want to
give prove for their parents that going steady don’t disturb their study.
There are still a lot of students of SMA Neg. 1 Maros that going steady even
tought that can disturb their achievement. That is showed by there is not a response from
the students to the education because they give more attention to their going steady
activity than their achievement in class and there isn’t an action to repair they
achievement, so that just decrease it.
Not only that, going steady bring bad attitude, for example they don’t obey with
their parents. They start to lie with their parents that in fact, their parents don’t give
permit to going steady yet.
The students of SMA Neg. 1 Maros don’t care with their friend’s advice too, to
stop going steady because their scores in class are decrease when they going steady.
Sometimes, the problem in going steady can disturb the concentration of students to study
so decrease their achievement.
From the result of this research, we get conclude that :
1) Going steady’s effects are so influence the student’s achievement
2) Going steady can give advantages and disadvantages. But if we compare both of
them, going steady give more disadvantages.
3) Going steady give disadvantages because :
There are a lot of times with their lover.
The students think that more important to go with their lover than do the
homework from the school.
Going Steady give advantages because :
There is our lover that usually give us support and attention
Increase the study’s motivation to study because they want to perfect in
front of their lover
From this research the writer advice :
o The students can choose that we can going steady or not with see the effect.
o The students can take conclusion that going steady can give bad influence to
the student’s achievement.
From data of inquiry above, we an conclude :1. The first question we can conclude that going steady is not important.2. The second question we can conclude that Going steady is a must for
the teenagers. 3. The third question we can conclude that Going steady is not spend a
lot of time.4. The fourth question we can conclude that the parents are not support
going steady. 5. The fifth question we can conclude that going steady don’t give good
influence to the student’s achievement.6. The sixth question we can conclude that going steady can give
motivation.7. The seventh question we can conclude that going steady can broke the
study’s activity.8. The eight question we can conclude that going steady can motivate to
study9. The ninth question we can conclude that going steady is not really
disturb the student’s concentration.10. The tenth question we can conclude that going steady can broke the
studying process11. The eleventh question we can conclude that can disturb the study’s
purpose of students.12. The twelve question we can conclude that going steady just waste the
time useless.
13. The thirteenth question we can conclude that going steady can disturb the students to study
14. The fourteenth question we can conclude that going steady broke the time of the students to study.
If we see the comparement between the advantages and the disadvantages of going steady, so we conclude that going steady can give more disadvantages.
