What is Bullying?
Definition
According to Olweus (2004) bullying is defines as “A student is being bullied when he or she is exposed, repeatedly and over time, to negative actions on the part of one or more students.”

Bauman (2008) reported “Teachers’ lack of intervention “plays a critical role in sanctioning the bullying behavior that occurs in schools, either intentionally or unintentionally” (Newman-Carlson & Horne, 2004, p. 260).
To provide teachers with knowledge and intervention techniques that promote a positive school climate and decrease the number of bullying incidents in elementary school settings
