Accomplishments

2018-Modified Rookie at Albany-Saratoga Speedway

and finished 9th in points

2017- Ran Sportsman at Albany-Saratoga finished 9th

in points and 8th in the King of DIRT series. Won first

big car feature.

2016-Won three Sportsman Rookie features and

moved up to the regular sportsman class. Bought our

own race car…we were hooked.

2015-SCCA Road Racing, won six races, was offered

sportsman ride by Ray Sefrin and drove six times.

2014-Raced karts 18 times and won 16 including many

big money races.

2013- took year off for snowboarding academy

2011-12-Raced slingshots for 2 ½ years at Caroga

Creek Speedway

2004-2010 Raced karts…first race at the end of 2004.

My name is Jack Lehner and my passion

for racing began when I was five years old

when my Dad bought me a kart and I drove

it all over our yard…at that point I knew

that I wanted to be involved in racing.

I began competing at the end of 2004 in

karting and I never thought that I might

have the opportunity to race in a 900

horsepower modified at 19 years old.

My career was progressing up the racing

ladder in 2012 when we made the decision

for me to take the year off from racing in

2013 and pursue snowboarding…so I

packed up my bags at 15 years old and

moved to the American Snowboarding

Training Center in Vermont.

I aspired to be a professional snowboarder

and competed in national championships

in Copper Mountain, Colorado. After a

series of broken bones and concussions

we realized that racing might be safer, kind

of ironic if you think about it.

It has turned out to be the right decision

getting back into my family owned race car

as we just completed a very successful

rookie racing season in the Big Block

modifieds.

We have had success at every level and I

can’t wait to see what the future holds for

our racing team.

The 19-year old sophomore at Siena College is

a rarity in motorsports. He and his 19-year old

buddy Ryan Stites are the primary crew for

this rising star. They both share a love for

racing with Jack behind the wheel and Ryan

setting up this technical beast of a racecar.

“It’s pretty cool with two 19-year old's doing

this. I was taught how to set-up a racecar and

then I kind of showed Ryan…and now his

work ethic makes it possible for me to focus

on racing. He even moved in with us and has

gone from a friend to a part of our family.”

Racing is a game of commitment and you will

time schedule at Siena College with a major in

to the race shop to get his blue and yellow
