The Compak Golden Bean location is approximately 10 minutes from down town and the Newcastle harbour.

S U G G E S T E D A C C O M M O D A T I O N A R E A S :

1. The Harbour: Wharf Rd and Honeysuckle DriveThe Honeysuckle development has opened up the Harbour to Newcastle. The 50-hectare site hugs five kilometres of harbour front with a promenade stretching along the waterfront, where people can walk, run, ride or skate its entire length. The promenade runs from the stunning mangrove boardwalks near the Carrington Precinct past the Crowne Plaza and Breakwater Apartments, linking up with the remaining foreshore to the historic breakwall guarded by Nobbys Lighthouse; in all over seven kilometres long.

2. Town CentreNewcastle is Australia’s second oldest city. The centre of town is located at the eastern end of Hunter Street close to the Hunter Street Mall. Shielded from the sun by the dappled canopies of the trees the mall and nearby streets, including Darby Street have an ever increasing number of boutiques, cafes, bars and galleries to tempt you to browse, chat, eat, and shop.
